ParcelHero agrees with PM that a no deal Brexit would be ‘a bad outcome’
The international parcel specialist ParcelHero agrees with Theresa May that ‘tariffs and costly checks at the border’ will be a ‘bad outcome’ to Brexit negotiations

The parcel comparison site ParcelHero welcomed the Prime Minister’s vision for Brexit in her party conference speech ‘that provides for frictionless trade in goods."

The online parcel broker agrees we need a deal that, in the Prime Minister’s words ‘would protect hundreds of thousands of jobs in the just-in-time supply chains our manufacturing firms rely on".

Says ParcelHero’s Head of Consumer Research, David Jinks MILT: ‘We welcome the Prime Minister’s defence of a Brexit plan that maintains a frictionless border, including a seamless border in Northern Ireland.

‘Prime Minister May said in her conference speech "Leaving without a deal - introducing tariffs and costly checks at the border - would be a bad outcome for the UK and the EU." As a company working at the ‘coalface’ of the future UK-EU border, we agree that a negotiated Brexit deal is essential to ensure there are no significant new tariffs and delays.’

Concludes David: ‘Crashing out of the EU with no Customs agreement in place will create huge delays and introduce new tariffs and Customs Clearance fees. We very much hope the Prime Minister’s defence of a free trade deal that provides for frictionless trade in goods is supported by her entire Government, and continues to be at the heart of its Brexit plans.’

ParcelHero has previously issues a report warning of the perils of a hard Brexit.
