Balluff goes digital with new app
Balluff, a leading global provider of sensors and industrial technology, has released a free catalogue app for both iOS and Android users.

The release of the on-demand mobile content catalogue will allow users to download product specifications, brochures and access digital content across mobile and tablet devices.

Balluff’s app has been launched on both iOS and Android operating systems, which currently hold over 95% market share in the smartphone and tablet industry (2014, Q3).

The app provides an in-depth view of Balluff’s range of sensors and industrial RFID and networking solutions using a convenient search function and menu structure.

John Radford, Managing Director at Balluff, said: “In an ever-increasingly fast-paced industry where working on the go is the norm, we’re keen to provide existing and potential customers with the best mobile platform and ultimately improve user experience. Our app is designed to be both user-friendly and responsive using a clear, transparent menu structure, helping customers find the information and products they need quickly and efficiently.

“As industry leaders we’re aware of how essential is it that we make the most out of mobile technology in order to succeed in the digital era.

“In addition the new app minimises the need for paper catalogues and so will potentially reduce our carbon footprint too!”

The Balluff app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
